Xavier is a developer and YouTuber who is passionate about taking complicated topics and explaining them in plain-English. He is 30 years old and lives in a country that is so tiny you might not even spot it on a map. Besides his blog, Simply Explained, he also has a YouTube channel and has created a few e-learning courses. One of his biggest passions is doing extensive research and continuously rewriting his posts or video scripts until they make sense, finding satisfaction in helping people understand new topics. He started in print and designed album covers at a small, independent record label. He won the Apple Design Award in 2006. In 2013, he moved to San Francisco. He has been a print and UX designer, game designer, product owner, scrum master, creative director, usability tester, innovation leader, sales engineer, team manager, mentor, brand manager in digital marketing, chief of staff, and a personal therapist to a number of executives. After a decade in the US, he moved back to Europe. His hobbies include running, mountain biking, hiking, taking photos, headbanging to thrash metal, making pots, reading, watching movies and shows, writing shell scripts, cooking, traveling, and studying contemporary philosophy and geopolitics.

Aien transitioned into web development, working with companies of all sizes. Aien has hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Java, and PHP, with Go holding a special place. Aien aims to grow into a full-stack software architect and potentially a CTO. Aien is passionate about connecting with others, learning, and sharing ideas.

Diogo Torres Correia is a developer from Portugal with a passion for programming, running, photography, and learning. He has experience building webstores, donation systems, and tools for businesses.
