Peter Lee is an author with wide-ranging interests. A former journalist, he was drawn to writing after initially pursuing science in college. He is the author of *Spectacular Bid: The Last Superhorse of the Twentieth Century* and *The Death and Life of Mal Evans*. His passion for music led him to create *Hooks and Harmony*, a blog about melodic pop music and the 80s. He also owns and operates *The Way to Churchill Downs*, a news blog about horse racing. He is also a regular contributor to Past the Wire.
