Dean Robert Watson is an Australian living in Auckland, New Zealand. He leads EdTechNZ and co-runs EdTech Jobs NZ. Dean enjoys helping people, particularly those in education technology. He has worked in EdTech startups for over 10 years and values the mission-driven nature of the people in the field. He is interested in connecting with people, asking questions, and documenting systems. Dean also enjoys sports highlights, personal finance, and spending time with his partner, Sierra Truong, who is an artist.

Akhil Neelam - I am a full-time MBA student at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Prior to business school, I co-founded South Asia’s only volunteer-led think tank on gender & politics, growing 140+ members across 14 countries and building a global network of change-makers. My journey, from building AI partnerships in government to leading product customisation to building an impact startup has been about scaling impact through technology.
