In addition to her scientific and creative pursuits, she is passionate about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and explores the connections between various disciplines in her blog, sharing insights and experiences on life, programming, and BJJ.

Alicia Souza is an illustrator who has been referred to as a ‘happiness illustrator’. She has been drawing professionally for over a decade and has hundreds of products manufactured from her drawings. She has also done a number of TED-x's, public speaking events and is an INK fellow. Alicia was born and brought up in the Middle East, had a little stint in Melbourne, and currently lives in Bangalore with her husband, dog, lots of pencils, and a naughty toddler. Based in Los Angeles, California, lzrd.dev is a freelance security researcher and system administrator. Their previous work at Global Voices examined the societal impact of Bitcoin, cyberwarfare, and responsible disclosure in El Salvador. Their interests include permacomputing, cryptography, vulnerability research, and malware analysis. They occasionally speak at conferences and take on contracts.

Guy Moorhouse is the principal of Futurefabric Studio, a creative practice focused on crafting digital products. He designs and builds for the web and related technologies, often consulting with organizations at the beginning of a new venture. His work includes websites, software prototypes, and animations, encompassing product design, brand design, and front-end development. He has worked with clients ranging from startups to global tech companies for over a decade.

Marc Hoffman is a composer and performer of jazz, film, concert, theatrical, pop, choral, and gospel music. As a pianist and vocalist, Marc performs 200+ dates per year with a repertoire of original jazz and piano instrumental, and his own arrangements of standards, ballads, and pop. He performs as a soloist, with his trio, and with other ensembles at concerts, festivals, clubs, and other public and private events. Marc's music has been performed across the US and in the UK and Europe by orchestras, and other ensembles and soloists. He released Telegraph, a concert piece for woodwind trio, in November 2024. Marc is also founder and artistic director of the Salisbury School of Music, and lives in Salisbury, NC with his wife, Anne and daughter, August.

His notable design work includes freelance merch design for Tumblr, freelance anniversary graphics for Bitmap Books, freelance website graphics for Orville Peck, and freelance t-shirt design for Open Mike Eagle.
